Big, BIG game on Saturday. I need not remind everyone that almost five decades have passed since we beat Furman in three consecutive years.

Media lunch interviews. They are confident and ready to play. MA says 'I like where we are'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GqJpUeE-cY

In 30 years, I have never heard Ayers say that about any Wofford team.
Confidence is running high. We better come to play on Saturday. FU will pull out all the stops.

Spot on. Furman has talent and will be very prepared. It will require our best effort for four quarters.

It will likely be a warm sunny day so we need to stay fresh and alert.

Back w your objective FU fan here. You all should win ... And pretty easily honestly. I am not poor-mouthing

FACTS - new coach. New D coordinator. Switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Playing a TON of freshman, especially on the OL (our youngest OL I can ever recall). Good article I read recently explaining that returning OL talent is the highest correlation in September success... And we have ~ 6 freshman on our OL rotation !! That's crazy young. With all these new schemes and plays we have exactly 4 returning starters on O and 4 on D.

Do we have a chance ? Sure. Though I worry about our OL vs your D to be honest. Our DL has been killing our OL in practice and your D is far more mature

Long term I think our future is bright. Very very bright. I love that we got Clay Hendrix back. He was there for all 3 national title appearances and worked under Dick Sheridan etc. then he turned things around Air Force. The guy knows OL etc. I heard an opposing coach at App State once say Hendrix OL were the reason FU was tough. But I think we are a Year or two away from that.

Good players of ours to watch. Reid at NG. Anoor at Safety. Blaze at QB if he is on w accuracy. Morehead (was out vs you all last year) really impresses me at TB. Michigan State struggled to stop him. Scmidt at Center

I think we may struggle to score this year

Is Roo Daniels playing. ? Any injuries of significance over there?

We need to get after Blazejowski, the QB ... he has had some success against us. Play action and draws would be reasonable plays for them to try.

I remember the last time MA felt confident going into the FU game ... 2002.

This year, however, we will be ready.

Got the ole swamp buggy all tuned-up, got the road tires on, we'll blow the mud off on I-95. Time to get them chin straps on tight, get blood in the eyes and have at it. But remember, execution beats talent every time. Don't buy your own hype, play every down till the whistle and talent can beat 'em to sleep! GO TERRIERS!!!
