Got to find someone other than #7 to carry the load and our OL needs to gel with replacements.
Good news is they don't need to put up many points with out D.

19TERRIER19 wrote:The hype and positive press thrown at Wofford this preseason is earned and deserved. And it doesn't change a thing with how these young men are preparing to attack the season. This group has been through the Fire and back. Seasoned, talented, and extremely hungry to win the SoCon and chase a national title.

Also.........just thinking about how nasty our D Line is going to be. Ooooweeeeeee....teams better buckle their chin straps early......We will have a top 3-4 D Line in the country. Heck, I'd say the same for the Linebackers. Our front 7 is going to be a problem for everyone. I can't wait to see it unfold......

The first 2 games being Conference games set the tone for the season.....and the fact our rivals are up first thrill me.

Our d-backs look on a par with the rest of the D, while we're at it ... physical, fast, experienced and deep.

Our O should be very good, perhaps just not as deep as the D. Feeling good about getting the rock to Morgan, McAfee, Nelson, and other rb's.
Receiving group looks loaded.

Agree (mostly) with the above posts, but as I've stated before, the Terriers won't sneak-up on anyone in the SoCon this year. The OL is the big, big key to winning this season imo.
They open some good gaps and WOF wins 'em. But the SHD's are the ducks swimming across the target range with the bulls-eye on them now! Those pesky SoCon rivals are gonna come at them with blood in their eyes after getting smacked around last season. Can't wait.....get 'em dogs!!!

Anyone know if John Patterson will be playing again?

I saw him in promotional material for the new arts center with no neck brace or anything.

I understand if he didn't come back but would love to see him back on the field

More pre-season talk. Interesting reading. ... hey-start/

As for Patterson, I hope he does come back - for him and for the entire team.
