They are 7-3, with a loss to Gardner Webb. Also have OT loss vs. ND State.

Unfortunately, they just beat Kennesaw State, another option team.

They appear to be a run-first team, and they do it well. Strong run defense.

They have lots of good wins and close losses. This must be a VERY good team. Then again, we have played a bunch of good teams.

I don't think the Big South is a good barometer to say how well they will play us. for instance, Western was probably the second to or worst team this year, and they routed GW who beat CSU. Conference games are always tougher than they look on paper, which is why whenever you see an undefeated conference record that should be praised (see: Citadel).

I don't think CSU is as good as they were last year, but still they are very good and can beat us. Last year they beat the Citadel twice, and in the second game pretty much shut down a strong option (arguably not as strong as this year, but I digress).

I predict it'll probably be a low scoring game. Fast game with lots of runs. It's the playoffs and anything can happen, but there's so much less predictability involved so I'm not going to predict a score. If either team scores 20, they'll likely win.

Congrads to you all Wofford fans.
Your schedule through the playoffs looks travel friendly and in your favor.
Starting off at home is crucial and a huge advantage.
Looks like Coach Ayers has team peaking at right time.
So will be pulling for y'all on this other side of the Mississippi River.

Griz tanked down the stretch, and the alumni are not very patient and some want his head served up on a platter.
But I like the wide open offense, and his river boat gambles mentality on game situations.
So we will see.
Big Sky readds Idaho from the Sun Belt, so we continue to grow as a Conference.

Enjoy and embrace it as the playoffs are all that matters.
Congrads again.

Does anyone know CSU's current APR?

Never mind, found it. Not near as high as ours but better than it has been in the past.

Well done Terrance. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2016/11 ... -week.aspx

We will need an excellent performance on both sides of the ball to be successful this week.

Congrats to Terrance.
I was thinking this morning about who deserves All SoCon honors.
Here's my guess: Marvin, Warhby, Long, Gay (?), Jacon-Duffy(?), Brown, Vaughn, D. Wilson, Green, Morris (?). Jireh Wilson should be on all-F team.

Terrance has come through some personal adversity and tragedy this year, and he appears to have really gotten himself together. He had one interception and another called back in the game Saturday, and is making himself known all over the field. He is a short haired dog we can all be very happy for this week.
Just found this on a Tweet:

I believe we have a great shot to win this game. They run the ball, which plays to our defense's strength, so hopefully that means we can limit their offense. And when we are on offense, if we can play vintage Wofford football and grind it out, control the line of scrimmage and the time of possesion, we should advance. Of course I thought we'd beat The Citadel with basically the same analysis and that didn't work out...because we beat ourselves with turnovers and mistakes. You can't do that against good teams, and everyone in the playoffs is good. If we avoid turnovers and penalties, I think we get a shot at redemption in Charleston.
