Chuck South at HOME!

Question- NCCU beat A&T yesterday to win the MEAC. Why are they NOT in the playoffs?

I know it is one game at a time, survive and advance, etc but if we beat CSU, we get the El CID rematch we ALL want ! Go you SHD's

NCCU winds up in an automatic bowl vs. the SWAC champion.

So, NC Central turns down the playoffs for a bowl game? I guess the TV money is pretty large, but don't hey have to split that with conference members? Strange, but then again there are MANY strange things in the FCS. For example, Davidson claiming they play football at that level.

I know very little about CSU so can anyone fill me in on what kind of team they are ? Pass happy like Sammy, run happy like Cid or somewhere in between ?? Looks like they started strong with a close loss to NDSU and finished ok at end although they did lose to GWU (5-6).

they run a weird shotgun triple option...kind of like us, kind of like JMU? I'm not sure, I honestly haven't watched them enough.

I anticipate a fan of theirs will show up to let us know

The ESPN broadcast said that Charleston Southern averaged about 275 yards on the ground. They won their conference with losses to North Dakota state in overtime first game of the year and they looked impressive. They also lost to Gardner Webb 17-10 and Florida State 56-8. Athletic and run heavy is what I remember.

They look much like us in offense; gun optionbteam that passes a little more.
They are big and physical up front; fast on D. Shut Cid down three straight years.
They are no joke; the real deal. Look a lot like us except more athletic. Chadwell will have them sky high over not hosting despite winning conference.
I think their QB is a little inexperienced. 1st guy got hurt as I recall.
