Wacky crazy game that had every ebb and flow you can imagine. It was ugly but was beautiful at the same time. Love beating Furman..........Let them stew on this one for the rest of the year and into next year....we hadnt really laid an egg all season and I wont call this an egg, but it wasnt our best game......But to say that and come away with the win, I love it.........

Now time to regroup and focus for the biggest game of the season. Basically WIN AND IN...........thats all that needs to be on our mind.

Feels good to still be in the hunt....and with the chance to control our own destiny.....ANOTHER WEEK TO FOCUS ON THE TASK AT HAND!!!!!

We advance in these playoffs. This time against a very good Chattanooga team. Derrick Craine will likely be back at 100% since he got injured against Citadel. their QB is good, but they aren't going to lean on him like Furman leaned on Hannon. We can't turn the ball over like we did this week or against the Citadel. Hopefully it'll be a low scoring affair with the terriers on top

In other news, Citadel just won in OT 37-34 against Samford. They are the team of destiny...I bet they win next week against VMI

If we don't turn the ball over and avoid stupid penalties, we have a good chance next weekend. Even with the loss of 2 QB's and 2 LB's, we still had good chances to be 6-0 in the SoCon. We can't, however, give Chatty the ball on our own 5 yard line twice and still win the game.

This is a game we can win, but we must not have three turnovers. And we must continue to have a little creativity and a few pass plays available.

Datavious Wilson is such a valuable player for us. With the loss of two starting linebackers we are so fortunate to have a true freshman so talented to step in. He has gotten more and more consistent all year, and he seems to be in on every play. It is fun to follow him on defense. He will always lead you to the ball.
