Looks like ETSU is going to beat WCU in Bristol. What does that mean for the rest of the field? They also beat Kennesaw early on. I did not see that coming.

Wow, harsh words on a 59-0 whippin'! But I agree that if we are not ready to play next week we will be in some trouble.

ETSU was two laps ahead when WCU spun out.

Only playing one half of good football won't cut it from here on out.

Done it with class for a long time... So true. It was also neat to see the class from the JCSU players after the game. Old age makes you realize the importance of those things. Ruckus, is your daughter still a cheerleader?

Yes, sir, she is.
This year they put her on the back row left end which is closest to the field so she can monitor the game and make sure they call the appropriate cheers because supposedly she is one of the few that actually understands what is going on in the game.
I am a proud daddy.
And this time next year both of my daughters may be Terriers (fingers crossed).

I think the last time we played ETSU we won the game and with it the Socon outright. It was 2003. I was in fourth grade.

We need to give great effort and stay focused. They are 2-0; have talent and more experience than you may think; many redshirts. Big challenge. http://www.citizen-times.com/story/spor ... /90539890/

From the highlights, you can see they have a left handed QB, some good skilled players, and an active athletic defense. I like this as our first conference game.

Great experienced coaching staff (most of whom have HC experience) that is very familiar with us. DC Billy Taylor preceded Nate Woody at Wofford.
This will NOT be an easy one. Hope the kids are up for it.

HC Torbush, of course, was longtime successful DC at UNC, but had less success as HC there. Like Taylor, he will have clear ideas about how to defend our offense.

And OC Mike O'Cain led NCSU for several years as well as coaching at East Carolina, Citadel, Clemson, Virginia Tech and James Madison.

Hey Ruck,

A walk down memory lane... you remember that hit the ETSU linebacker/DB put on "twinkle-toes" Tim Foreman...vicious to say the least.
