TTU obviously hasn't gotten the memo on Jacks yet. Or this is another fine work of investigative journalism.

Small(er) town journalism. Seems like the local paper there doesn't spend too much time reporting on TTU sports anyway, as most of the other stories on the website are straight from the school's athletic department.

I would trust that the TTU coaching staff is better informed and planning accordngly.

We are heading into this one "blind." Throw last year's game out completely. We have never faced their new offensive and defensive schemes with their new coaching staff. This makes me very nervous for the "hunt and peck" method we employ (at least offensively) in these situations.
However, their DC was at WCU last year (and LB coach at GSU in the past) so he is VERY familiar with us. Remember we scored a total of 3 points in the first 3 quarters v WCU last year and lost to them the year before. I look for odd man fronts with 9 in the box. He will likely stunt us to take away the FB and force the QB make a quick decisions at the mesh and pitch. This typically gives us trouble. We will have to be able to effectively move people up front with one on one blocks and get people on the ground in the alley. This will be a real test of where we are as an offense right out of the gate.
They have several FBS transfers including their QB and WR and TE/FB which will challenge us defensively.
Tough one. The question of whether we have "returned" will be answered in short order.

Hope we will be quick to respond to any adversity on both sides of the ball, EARLY! The real danger is getting behind at the get-go, and procrastination in seeking adjustments.

GAME DAY!!! Gotta get all my electronics lined up to watch the game and listen to Mark and Thom. Will Vann be there? Excited to see what we do coming out of the blocks and how we react to a team that knows a lot more about us than we do them. The weather in Cookeville looks great. Time to hit someone other than Terriers!
