Are we having some technical difficulties.....

Postby 19TERRIER19 on Tue Oct 06, 2015 9:35 am

with no Inside Wofford Football recap of the Mercer game, no post game wrap up that I came across. And Coach Ayer's show last night wasn't streaming. Is this due to the inclement weather down there or does anyone know of anything??? Just love having those resources to stay in tune with the happenings of Wofford Football. Thanks in advance.

I got a PM yesterday from Garrett Hall who coordinates the IWF segments who indicates he is out of town for his grandmother's funeral. He got word in the 4th quarter Saturday night that she had passed, finished the game and came back with the team then left Sunday to go to Memphis for her services. He wanted me to let everyone know on the board that he will be back and try to get it out by Thursday.
I do not know if the MA show streaming issue is in any way related or not.
I made sure Garrett knew we were thinking of his family during this difficult time and appreciated his work which we all enjoy. He has done really well with the segments this season IMO.

Oh man, I hate to hear that. I've known Garrett since he was in high school, he, Chris, and Tim Johnson on the bball staff all went to the same school. Great young man, I was more than pleased when he got the job a couple of years ago. I will definitely be thinking of him and his family. Thanks Ruckus for sharing that.

Thanks for relaying this information, Ruck. It certainly has been a week of putting things in the proper perspective here in SC.

He really has done a great job with the segment and we wish him and his family the best in his time of need.

Thanks for the info Ruckus and our condolences to Garrett. The new IWF is once again very well done. A comment and a question- does Wofford (Garrett) do the video or does the SoCon? The video for the games when done by the Socon have been great-like the video for IWF. The quality of the shots is excellent (HD) and they don't try to get too tricky with the shots like so many televised football games. Keep up the good work. I know it was hard to fit it all into a reasonable time slot this week because of all the highlights in a high scoring game, but the interview with Jacks after the game made me feel better about his condition. He looked very beat up at the end.
