WOFFORD ranked #24th in this poll. Speaking of polls. Pretty fair write up actually

Thanks, Mr. Ward, for posting. Nice to see a little preseason love. Hope #6 black shirt gets back healthy soon. We need him.

Finally got to see the 88+ plays from the scrimmage on Sat. Because I'm such a biased fan, its hard to not watch the ball and look and dissect the plays. But my take on it is thus:
I agree mostly with Ruck on the pecking order of QBs, 16, 15, 3, 14 in that order. The abysmal passing game is still abysmal. Long and Colvin look in game form running the ball.
The OL looked a little skittish at times, but overall performed OK. The DL looked pretty stout as did the LBs. With all the over throws, short throws, drops, picks, and a few completions, the DBs held up. Difficult to tell how they'll do come gametime. My take is the team looks like the old bird on the fence at this time, could go either side. A few quick good performances and all is well, a few quick stumbles and not so great. The injury bug hurts too. Can't wait to get the season started!

Are my old eyes failing me, or are there two #2's in white jerseys out there? Can't reconcile it with the roster!

Your eyesight is fine, Mudrat. There are in fact 2 white shirt #2 RBs: Marshall and Percy. Both freshmen. One from Tn and one from Ohio (who is a walk on, I believe).
You have to pay close attention because practice numbers can change from game jerseys depending on condition of jerseys, equipment needs etc. For instance, I noticed Saturday that Gay is wearing # 86 white shirt (as seen in Romero video) and Clemons is wearing #16 black shirt.

Went to scrimmage tonight. Lott still held out as was Reamer, Bragg, and Boudreaux who was in a brace. No sign of jamario williams either.
Goodson started followed by Butler. Jacks and Weimer took very few snaps.
We were ragged, sluggish and slow. Lots of mistakes: bad snaps (scout team), fumbled snap or 2, a fumble (Gay), couple of INTs in scout team. Looked tired physically and mentally. 'Tis about that time in camp when the legs go dead and theind gets numb. MA and Nash topping cotton at offense. MA brought whole team to midfield for up downs and a "motivational session." Team picked it up after that.
Nice plays by Hill, windham, Colvin, Michaelson, and Vaughn.
Tillery was dressed but didn't play any snaps. Lemon is working in at CB. Watson ran scout team only. Ward was back.
I am worried about our DBs v. Clemson's skill positions.
Couple wrinkles offensively: first play was pure wishbone (one TE) and second play was one back with 4 wide spread formation.

Nick told me yesterday that he would be "Hundo" 100% for Clemson.
He felt about 85% today.
The other banged up players should also be ready to go.
We need to get out of Clemson healthy. IMHO

Abey, I agree that being injury-free as possible after Clemson is a priority. We want to play hard and get better during that game too.
