Let's not forget that Baylor team in 2013 ended up being the highest scoring offense in the history of FBS, I think. They put up 70 on Buffalo, 70 on ULM, 73 on West Virginia, 71 on Iowa State, 59 on Kansas, 63 on Texas Tech, 42 in a bowl on UCF. I'm not including the over 40 3 other times. No one can really compare them to any other team. Forget our youth and it being the first game of the season that year, they put up huge numbers against some teams that would normally not be considered pushovers.

Wofford teaches you more than just being a football player! Great article and even better young man.

Wonder how many of these big fast supremely talented athletes we will face Saturday can/would say that about their school?
Puts a lot in perspective.

I like the thrust of this, from Big Boss. They all need to pull together in the same direction, with and for each other. Upper class guys sound like they are stepping forward.

This probably doesn't belong in a pre-season thread, but it was the best we had. I have been online watching most of our 2015 opponents play someone somewhere, and my eyes are wide open. I don't see a cupcake out there anywhere. Not sure where some have gotten the impression Tenn Tech is a pushover, but they are playing Houston tough in the first half. Furman hanging tough with Coastal. Chatty lost to Jack St. GW doing just fine, thank you. Wish we were playing Davidson! We had better get our act together.
