I have it on pretty good authority that we have DL Deion Preister from Allendale Fairfax on campus this weekend. North South Allstar. 6'3" 245.

Also hear the Wilcox twins have been taking visits to other places but only have one offer - us.

First team all conference in D.C. area, but a little under the radar at this point.

Contee is a big fella! Could almost see him stuffing the run on D at NT more than playing OL.

I am going out on a limb a little with this post but I think we have another commitment that hasn't officially surfaced.
2 weeks ago, Coach Connolly (who recruits the Upstate of SC) tweeted that we had a DB commitment from the Upstate. I think that it is CB Donavan Anderson from Boiling Springs although I have nothing to confirm that yet.
North-South All-Star. 5'11"-6'0" 175 4.55 40 11.25 100 M

We got another Shrime Bowler. OL Chad Gardner from Boiling Springs has committed. 6'2" 280. I like him. Good player.

I love the way Gardner moves his feet, gets after it, and stays after it. He looks excellent.

Definitely see Contee as more of a NT prospect.

Really neat to hear of the local guys wanting to play at Wofford. Lenny Mathis and Lia Carter deserve some credit for making both the Wofford game experience and publicity about Wofford something that is appealing in the community. They must think that Wofford and Wofford Football is something special to want to be players.

This is the one I have been waiting on: who will replace LoLo?
RB Ryan Lovelace from North Gwinnett Ga. has committed.
5'9" 195. 4.5 40. 863 yards rushing with 14 TDs.

Not highly recruited. But he is my new favorite Terrier recruit. Appears we have hit the mother load of heart and overcoming adversity.

Just saw the tweet from Dane Romero. Thanks for the post-he will become a favorite of all of us. We can be his Wofford parents!

Yep I would rather have Lovelace - who does not expect handouts and knows he has to work for something to get it and deserve it too - than a guy who thinks he does not have to work hard. And the Lovelace type of player is a typical SHD at least IMHO. One that is an unselfish team player and never complains. It seems like the entire team consists of players with those characteristics. I am glad we got him. This class is shaping up to be another very good one. But we still have two more weeks. Or do we have the barn all filled up ? Do we still have some needs yet to fill ? GO TERRIERS !!!!!!!

P.S. This class has all of the markings of a very good one. We have three Shrine Bowlers - Moore, Johnson and Gardner - with two North South Allstars - Beckett and Anderson. Also Phelps is a Top 50 player in Ky with Wild a Tn/Ky Allstar as well as a semi finalist for Mr Football in his classification in Ky. Other players have good size and others have speed. I am not counting Anderson as one of these because he is not official yet but he is fast. Looking at it overall this class IMHO does not have a weak player. All of them appear to be very good recruits. But the last few years have been like that - strong classes with recruits that will contribute to the team and be typical SHDs.

I understand he plays at the highest high school designation in Georgia, and the Gwinnett area has a lot of talent. He is going to be a fine player for us; he already looks a lot like LoLo. This will likely be Stoddard's breakout year, if he can avoid injury tweaks, and Nelson and Lovelace could be big contributors at the go-to back slot too.

Thoughts? How is our running game looking?

According to twitter, Malik Sumter from Irmo is a SHD. Could play either side of the ball for us it seems.
