Hope we can pull this one off. This kid could be be instant threat for our offense in space. May be a bit under sized for every down back, but could see this kid as a slot or scatback. He is on campus this weekend and recently decomited from Army.

Has been winning serious recognition in Alabama since 8th grade. Looks like a back who would excel in our offense.

Not as impressed with his speed as other abilities: great vision, sets up his blocks, lateral quickness/good feet, great balance and strength for a small back. He is not slow but not a burner either (4.5-6). Really like his attitude/mentality: refuses to go down on contact, runs with confidence and authority. You can tell he has been a playmaker for a long while.
Reminds me of Lenox McAfee and Richardre Bagley at Chatty.
Good find, Six. Hope we get him.

I saw him this weekend. Smaller back. He was with Coach Romero.

A new SHD. Should be a great one. Forty inch vertical ... seriously? http://247sports.com/Player/Ostin-McPherson-26519

Great pick up! I have always said we need more explosive talent and this kid looks to fit the bill. Looks like the staff addressed needs in playmaker area with 16 class

Great pick up!!! Way to go coaches!
Very very productive back. Should really help us.
Playmakers coming in at RB in McPherson, Chapman and Morgan. Not sure we have ever had 2 star RBs on the roster much less same class.
This gives us 2 2 star RBs, a 2 star S, a 2 str QB, and a 3 star LB in this class.

OK, I think his nickname may be "The Little O," given his size. Great quickness and moves. I hope he returns punts and kickoffs, because he could really make a difference quickly.

Chapman won the Nike Combine in Charlotte. had a vertical of 41.7 " http://www.studentsports.com/football/2 ... e-results/. Results show a 40 time of 4.63 but Hudl shows a 4.42. McPherson does look very good. Very shifty and elusive as well as having power despite his size. It seems that this class has stolen more players from Army, Navy and AFA than any previous class. Very promising.

Cid board says LB commit Datavious Wilson from Hartsville has flipped to them. He has removed us from his Twitter page. They may be right. So it begins....

That is difficult to comprehend. Surely as a freshman he would be in the mix early for us, and have a chance to shine a la Scioneaux. We'll know more on NSD.
