The Citadel (1-3, 1-0) at Wofford (1-3, 0-1), 1:30

Wofford’s schedule has not been an easy one, and it shows with the 1-3 record. The Terriers haven’t looked all that bad in any game, but could not pull out wins at home against Coastal Carolina and Furman and lost a surprisingly close contest at I-A South Carolina. The Terriers have their usual statistical breakdown with the option, with a running game that is averaging 248 yards per game and minimal production from the passing attack. The defense has been a bigger problem for the Terriers, as they are having a tough time stopping the run with five yards per carry and 191.8 yards per game allowed. But this could be a good matchup for the Terriers. The Citadel is averaging less than three yards per carry overall, and is giving up 4.3 yards per attempt. Quarterback Duran Lawson had a breakout performance against Chattanooga last week, but two strong games in a row is a lot to ask for a quarterback and offense that is still developing. The Citadel could have a tougher time getting up for this one after an emotional game last week. Wofford is tough at home, and the Terriers should get back in the win column and get on the board in the Southern Conference by holding serve here. Prediction: Wofford 28, The Citadel 21
