He picked Furman to beat North Carolina 14-10.

Wofford (1-1) at South Carolina (1-1), 7:00

Wofford’s option offense can always be difficult for opponents to figure out, and will keep the Terriers competitive against almost any opponent. They ran for 335 yards in a loss to Coastal Carolina on Saturday, and a ball-control attack could keep the Terriers in striking distance against the Gamecocks. But South Carolina’s defense will be the toughest unit Wofford faces all year, and will make it difficult for the Terriers to mount long drives. The South Carolina offense has been erratic and was shut out by Georgia, but Wofford’s defense has not shown the ability to play with an SEC team. Wofford has the ability to keep the score down by making first downs, but won’t make a serious push to beat the Gamecocks. Prediction: South Carolina 35, Wofford 7
