Game notes https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/ ... _6_FUR.pdf

Looks like no injuries from Chatt and nothing more about Weirick's injury.

I notice a slight shuffling of the DL in the Game Notes for Furman that may signal we are developing some much-needed depth there. Zamary is now starting at NT, instead of backing up Brown, who moved over from DE after Horton’s injury. Brown is back at DE, where he is harder to double team. It looks like this was made possible by the emergence of Corey Prince, who makes his first appearance on the depth chart this week as the number 2 NT. I remember JC saying that Prince caught his eye against G-W, and I saw that Prince got significant snaps against Chatty. After Horton’s injury, I felt it was critical for one of the FR DLs to work his way into the rotation. I hope Prince has a solid outing against Furman.

I hate to play the no respect card, but between the media and socon player of the week not giving our players recognition and this...there's seemingly no respect for the defending socon champs

Later on down in the picks Elon gets the treatment as well. In some ways it is easy to see how some might look at the scores of our games and not rate us higher. We squeaked by (on the scoreboard) Citadel. The score against Chatty is not that impressive. However, statistically we have blown our all of our opponents except Wyoming. However, this is Craig Haley, the self proclaimed FCS guru, making the picks. We know he has never had much respect for Wofford or the SoCon after GA South and App, and believes that the FCS is really all about N Dak St and the CAA. For our players I hope this is one more little tweak. The only thing for them is to win and keep on winning until those doubters believe.
PS, if you are having the type of rain down in the upstate that we are in the Triad of NC I am glad we play on turf at Furman!

Haley lol Same clown that picked New Hampshire in the top 5 this year... They’re 1-4 and 0-2 in the Colonial.

I spoke with Haley a few years ago before the Wofford vs Richmond playoff game. A bit of a know-it-all; though less obtuse in person given his dubious rankings/comments about the Terriers.

UNH's season is puzzling; they had most of the O & D squads returning; however, the injury to their starting QB in the opening game sent them for a spin. My neighbor's son, starting LB, believes (as expected) they will be in the fight for an at-large playoff bid.

Sounds like NH is somewhat like Sammy-have to win out to get in the playoffs. Too bad he wasn't here for our playoff game against NH. I will never forget the poor officiating in our game against Richmond.

I don’t think Sammy gets in with only 6 D1 wins if they would win out? Correct?

They did in 2016, and if they tie for the socon championship at 6-2, they could get the autobid.

I'd like to win out and crush everyone's dreams

Bolder...saw several predictions where FU beats the "Sparkle City Mutts" by 3 to 17 points. Hero Sports (?) has us as a 17 pt dog and Leonard's Loser tabbed the Terriers. Sigh...smh.

Oh hell! We have to have that douchebag Sam Wyche as an announcer. Channel 62 called him a legend. What bull. He’s a loser and always will be.

Time for the defense to make those adjustments after their first drive.

Good grief. Playing incredibly poorly. Can't execute a 4th & 1 to get a first down. Can't cover a punt. Stupid penalties. Down 14-0. Looks like age-old Wofford against Furman in Greenville.
