“You take away the turnovers, we win the game. It’s as simple as that,” Ayers said. “I thought we outplayed them for the most part. … It was interesting that even with three turnovers, late in the game we still had a chance to win it. There’s a lot of be said about that. You’re playing up in the level of ball, you’re playing against a lot of starters from a division champion in the Mid-American Conference. We played a good football team and we played extremely well.”

The only problem is that I think sometimes he forgets that the other team turns the ball over too. What would the score have been if Ohio didn't have those 2 turnovers. We lost the turnover battle 3-2.

When Collier pitched, it frequently did count as a forward pass.
