        <content type="html"><![CDATA[Agreed that we will be ok as long as we stay relatively healthy and, as Coach MA said, we take care of the ball.    If we give it away too much we will have trouble with anybody.    However I have confidence that we will correct the miscues.      Not to change the subject but did anyone notice the tackle that P. Legrande made on one of the kickoff returns ?     It was a massive tackle.   <img src="http://www.terrierfans.com/images/smilies/icon_faint.gif" alt=":faint:" title="faint" />  I do not know how the Ohio player held on to the ball.         <content type="html"><![CDATA[TS wrote a blog about how Coach Ayers feels about our teams chances the rest of the year.  This makes me feel a lot better.   He's coached enough football to know what he is talking about.<br /><br />“We’re a team that’s awful close to being awful good,” Ayers said Monday. “If we get the same effort in the next 10 ball games as we had Saturday night, we’ll be all right. I think we’ll be competing for a championship, the playoffs and the whole shootin’ match.”<br /><br />“You take away the turnovers, we win the game. It’s as simple as that,” Ayers said. “I thought we outplayed them for the most part. … It was interesting that even with three turnovers, late in the game we still had a chance to win it. There’s a lot of be said about that. You’re playing up in the level of ball, you’re playing against a lot of starters from a division champion in the Mid-American Conference. We played a good football team and we played extremely well.”<br /><br />The only problem is that I think sometimes he forgets that the other team turns the ball over too.  What would the score have been if Ohio didn't have those 2 turnovers.  We lost the turnover battle 3-2.  <br /><br />Go Terriers!]]></content>

Enjoyed the history lesson on the walk down to the stadium, and the tailgate section along the riverbank was spectacular. You put Michigan fans to shame. The stadium was perfect for a &quot;True Fan&quot;, as I got to walk along side the ball and just grab a seat. The hill was cool, and I was there when he made the catch for a TD but the referee  saw it different. Hope you guys can take it to Ohio State, and if one of my kids ends up being scholarship material, I will recommend the jewel in the Ohio Valley. I got your number so expect a call, sir. I mean, if we fumble once a game (or even two or three times) then our percentage is <span style="font-style: italic">really</span> high given the number of successful pitches made. I think they returned a bunch of guys from last year, but does anyone know much about them?   <br /><br />Sure hope our boys take care of business early and we get back to business as usual on both sides of the ball.<br /><br />Let's go Dogs!]]></content>

Chuck South gets a post every few weeks. I say let's build this game up. Chuck South isn't a bad team and should give us a good game. Especially in the heat of the mid-day sun in Charleston.
